Hi Sam,

I have just had to go through hoops and sign up (?) just to let you know how much I enjoy hearing your news and seeing your photos and videos. (It's probably about time I took some steps in this media direction.) Glad you are feeling so well and that Dave and Aiden are also well and happy. I think Dave is fantastic for getting the study done and doing SO well. Congratulations Dave!
Pete and I have recently returned from a month in China and I am still on LSL and staying with him, up here in Tenterfield, until Monday. I return to work next Thursday.
Keep us posted on baby progress.

March 09

Well the new year has seen us move to the Blue Mountains. Have to say we are totally loving it. The space, the quiet, the trees - everything is just lovely. And there aren't as many people here, so it feels less chaotic and busy.  There is so much to do here and it has been fun exploring, so far my favourite place is Wentworth Falls Lake, where I take the boys to feed the ducks, swim and play. The boys have adapted very easily to the new lifestyle and are enjoying having a backyard for soccer, cricket and the swings. I'm back at work 3 days a week and thoroughly enjoying it. The commute is ok and I'm sure I will get over it but for now I'm enjoying listening to my music and not the kids for a change. Ash is well and truly crawling and standing. Our house is two story and Ash can climb the stairs, which is scary as we can't do anything to child proof them, Aidan is a good big brother though and lets us know if he is climbing them and we're not in the room. Ash also has his first 2 teeth coming through. Aidan is a lovely big brother who looks after Ash, so long as Ash isn't destroying Aidan's toys. He has the cheekiest little smile too. Dave is good too, but working too hard for my liking, as he hasn't had much time off to enjoy our new surrounds. Fingers crossed he'll lay of the work a bit now that I'm working. Anyway I hope you are all well.

Aidan's 2nd B'day & Ash's Christening

Hi All

We had a such a great day celebrating Aidan's 2nd birthday and Ash's christening.
It was wonderful to see everyone who could make it and thank you so much for the boys gifts.
Particular thanks to Ange Versace and James Howard who took most of these photo's - it was very much appreciated.

Hello All

Well Ash is becoming such a time waster for me. I can spend hours (when Aidan is in day care), pulling funny faces, making silly noises and playing peek a boo just to get a chuckle out of him. I love it when he laughs and it makes me laugh too. He's also quite the talker and makes many cooing noises (if you scroll down past the photo's you can see a video of Ash talking).

Aidan and Ash are now sharing a room, which I thought would cause some drama's as Aidan was not so keen on sharing his stuff with Ash originally (like the change table and his couch), but it has gone very smoothly (probably jinx myself now). In fact Aidan even gave Ash his favourite stuffed dog to sleep with on his morning nap, which was very lovely. As for Aidan, he has been out of sorts lately and I think his molars have been pushing through again, so hopefully he will be back to his happy self soon. At the moment his favourite thing to do is watch the Bee Movie, which is driving me nuts.

Not much else has been happening, Aidan's second birthday is coming up on the 11th Oct and we're also having Ash's christening around the same time (on the 12th), so that should be a lovely day to catch up with everyone (fingers crossed we have great weather for it).

Anyway hope all is well.

August 08

Well Ash is smiling and Aidan is now sleeping in a big bed - all vey exciting in the Anderson household!
Dave and I went on a date and saw the musical Keating - it was great. Particularly loved the Hewson and Downer characters - very kinky and the 'I'm Da ruler of the land' song - Keating was a great groover! Hope you like the photo's and enjoy the little video of Aidan feeding and chasing the ducks down at the my mum's place.

Take care.

Ashton Samuel's Arrival

Well I went into labour on my due date at 10pm and had Ashton Samuel at 7.06am the following morning.
Stayed at home for most of the labour and got to the hospital just in time (was 9cm dilated) to have him 1.5hrs later.
Was a wonderful and positive experience! And I am amazed at what our bodies can do. I also had a great support team - Melanie, Dave and Mum.
His stats are:
Weight: 4.1kg or 9lb
Height: 51cm
He is a very sleepy baby and feeds mostly every 4hrs - dream child!! Touch wood though I don't want to jinx it.
We are at home now and Aidan is enjoying his little brother and giving him lots of cuddles - not sure how long this will last though!
Take care.
